The Patient Cap vs Purple Torn Spandex
so...recently, the word "patience" has been on my mind.patience means "calm endurance"... and we all have to be patient right? whether its the little things like waiting for a bus that never seems to arrive or other things like people who jus wont listen to you or ignore what u say...its all about patience...but, recently, its like the bus does never ever seem to get to my stop...like this morning...? and buses are little things in life.
how patient can u be?
ive been asking myself this...as a Christian, i need to learn patience whether its waiting for God's word to speak to me bout life love and why, tryin to help my friends in their everyday life, kids who think they know me and try and 'bully' me to make them feel good about themselves...how patient can u be?
jus thinkin out loud, but are the most patient people the people that are the most wound up? are they the ones that have been wound to the max that the screw which winds the device in them has broken off because of it? is this one of God's big tests in our lives...maybe im not making sense.
i want things to happen...but with that i must learn to be patient...good things come to those who wait...God really has put a patient cap on me i think sometimes...recently, there are times when the brain temperature is near on exploding and i want to turn green and put on a pair of torn purple spandex...but i dont...i have this really bad human nature in me to explode but God is holding me back and i give in.
Finding rest in God is not the easiest thing to do...but when you do, you do feel calm....you do feel safe...and you do feel u can wait for another 2 hours for that silly bus. you jus have to be patient....stay calm...stay focused.

patience - recquires time, guess the world tells us we should want (and get) things now...so hard to fight out against the world yu'know? but keep up the patience dude, i know you got it in ya (:P you are the same laid back dude i know right?), in the end...you'll come up trumps. well...Jesus will...but, you're part of His family :P
we all struggle with patience... every one...will pray for ya brobro :)
yeah i know...its also jus been one of those weeks so far...the week where they start pilin work for the coming months...and its like "thats positively the most boring thing ive heard" esp since i do bio and chem! i want to see what God's for me round this corner...im lookin forward to it but its jus takin ages to get there...im on the brink of thiings and i jus wanna see...must pray for more calmness...
