So...before dinner of takeout pizza...i had a very funny conversation with matt...we were watching 8 Simple Rules when it hit the adverts...so i flicked over to The Weakest Link on the BBC and Anne Robinson splurged out the question in the fastest way possible...
"Which is bigger... 3 cubed or 4 squared...?" Anne asked...
"3 cubed"
"correct"
So, i tried to pull a fast one over matt...
"Hey matt..."
"what...?"
"which is the bigger number...3 cubed or 4 squared...?"
"3 cubed"
knowing he didnt think it through but merely jus heard the answer, i asked him:
"why?"
"jus cos"
"okay..whats 3 cubed?"
"27"
"okay..and whats 4 sqaured?"
"34"
*ross tries to decode this in his head*
"34?!"
"yeah..."
"how?!"
"well, you have to look at in fraction form..."
"wait a minute...then shouldnt 4 squared be bigger...?"
"no...cos ur not lookin at in fractions..."
this carried for another minute..then we went to ask mom...then she started to laugh...then the fractions 'theory' came back onto the table...His defence was he was thinking straight and he didnt heard the question properly...i guess ill have to believe him..
*2 hours later*
im still laughiin bout this...i cant breathe...mom tries to slowly break down the question again...Matt gets a chance to redeem himself...mom goes:
"okay matt...then what is 3 cubed?"
"9"
Ross + Simple Maths challenge + (Matt - loss of his reasoning) = (Sum of Ross being unable to breathe) cubed

Lol! Don't laugh at Matt! Just cause we're chinese doesn't mean we're good at maths. I mean, us chinese people do it the logical way. 1+1= a window.
im horrible at maths...dont worry bout it...i do believe 1 + 1 is a window...out of the box...jus like lookin at cubes and squares as fractions...out of the box thinking...we really need more of that nowadays.
