Pro Evo Soccer to Pokemon to Mutant Turkeys
So...we had a xmas dinner party tonight at our place. and it was such a blast...
Firstly, all credit for the evening goes to my mother for waking up at 6:00am jus to start cookin the turkey...from what i heard, it took at least 7 hours jus for the mutant turkey..and when i say mutant, i mean it in the MOST GIGANTIC TURKEY IVE EVER SEEN! not only that...A huge mini-mutant leg of lamb, salmon wrappy things with prawn mayo, brussels sprouts (which i had a hand in :P !), carrots, roast potato and trifle...she has a serious game plan when it comes to cookin...and everyone else brought the drinks, cakes and chicken wings and cocktail sausages and stuff...by then, i couldnt breathe...what did it for me was Kenneth's over generous slice of turkey at the end...Val and I were like motionless for 5 minutes...then we played Pro Evo, good teamwork between Val and I..remained undefeated for the rest of the night...This was then followed by a turkey eating competition between Bert and Terence...serious pressure there...
I think what dominated the night after the food, and over Pro Evo (*gasp*) was Television and Movie Charades.
I heard from matt and my mom that the night before at Bok and Ros' place...that game went down well, apparently mom and val claimed to be in tears during the game...So, my mom ... who said she wanted to have a good laugh suggested to matt and i to set the game up...so, we came up with some movies (Sam came up with some but frankly, hers were pretty lame :P)...
I can't remember all of it but a few stuck out:
1) Terence steps up to act it out...
*Terences roll over the floor pretending to get beaten up...starts running..gets up...pretends to stamp on someone...rolls down again..pretends to get abused...rolls around somemore...gets up...pretends to have a whip...starts whippin...rolls down...pretends to feel the whip...*
Crowd answer: "The Masochist"
Actual answer: "The Punisher"
2) Junny receives her movie, but hasnt a clue how to do it...Terence is egged on to do it instead...
*Terence lies face down on the floor and girates on the floor...starts slidin around everywhere...springs to his feet...bends his knees and starts flappin his tongue up and down..gets down and starts slidin around the floor..."
Crowd answer: "Anaconda"
Actual answer: "Anaconda"
Junny's reason for not doing the movie: "I dont even know what an anaconda is...!"
3) Mom's turn..*recieves her movie...signals to everyone it is ONE word with i think 4 syllables..1sy syllable...and without lying to you guys...mom walks over to bert and jean and pretends to beat them...or harass them...proceeds to walk around in circles with her hands movin in circular motions around the side of her head...then proceeds to continue to pretend beatin again...*
Crowd answer: "Crazy....i dunno!"
Actual answer: "Madagascar"
4) Lei's turn...*receives her movie...suddenly walks behind ross' chair and starts to strangle ross...then grabs phan and drags her to the centre of the room and gives her a sleeper hold...crowd still doesnt know...walks back to ross and strangles him..."Get off me u crazy woman...!"
Crowd answer: "Hostage"
Actual answer: "Hostage"
5) Bernard's turn
"starts to walk...then halts suddenly...reaches into pocket...pretends to roll a ball...then, he jumps forward into a monster attack position...does this for 1 minutes repeatedly...bert is in stitches...everyone is in stitches...mom cannot keep her face not red at this point in time...*
Crowd answer: "Pokemon"
Actual answer: "Pokemon"
SPECIAL MENTION !! :
1)IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM DID SOMEONE TRY AND RECREATE THIS MOVIE BUT WILLIAM JUS YELLED "HOT CHICKS" FOR NO REASON...TERENCE AND CO. WERE IN STITCHES FOR 5 MINS...GAME HAD TO BE PAUSED.
2)PROPS GO TO GAVIN FOR HIS TAKE ON A EDITED TAKE ON "DEUCE BIGALOW:MALE GIGOLO"...NO ONE GOT IT BUT I CRACKED UP...
all in all, a xmas i will not forget since usually its in malaysia and the feel of xmas is not there...it was a nice and new experience sharin it with friends this year...very very good.

I can imagine it... pokemon... and Bert and pikachu. It just works too well!!! The two just mix too well. So anyway how was the turkey? When you were going on about a gigantic turkey I was thinking about Monica and her head being stuck in a turkey. Did that happen by any chance?
it was crazy...so, Bernard picked up "Pokemon" and does an impression...big laughs...then its Will's turn and he picks up "Digimon" !!! hilarious..
I thought that too..i think it was as big as that...like a pretty ridiculous sized turkey...ive been eatin turkey sandwiches and porridge ever since...!
