yeah, i know what u mean...i used to hate my lessons with a passion...cos like...u dont wanna play those songs in those books...u wanna do ur own thing and play music u wanna play...but i guess u need the good fundamentals first before u can do ur own thing...i can only play chords but id love to expand be able to jus play things outta my own accord...same goes with la guitara.
